
Jane M. Williams specializes in various therapeutic approaches, including couples therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy.
Jane is a family therapist and social worker with 20 years of experience working with families and children within the welfare sector. She has specific expertise in therapeutic work with parents and carers of children who've experienced trauma, including those in the child protection and out-of-home sector. Jane has a special interest in family therapy, dyadic therapy, and play therapy, as well as providing support through couples therapy and individual therapy when needed.
Jane holds a Master of Clinical Family Therapy (MCFT) from La Trobe University, a Master of Social Work (Qualifying) (MSW(Q)) from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (BSocSc(Psych)) from Swinburne University of Technology.
She is an accredited member of the Association of Australian Social Workers (AASW) and a professional member of the Australian Association of Family Therapists (AAFT).
Jane is also a Foundational Theraplay® Practitioner and an accredited facilitator for the parenting education program Tuning in to Kids. Currently, she is working towards further accreditation as a mental health social worker (AMHSW).
