Jane M. Williams

Jane is a family therapist and social worker with 20 years of experience working with families and children within the welfare sector. She has specific expertise in therapeutic work with parents and carers of children who've experienced trauma such as those in the child protection and out-of-home sector. Jane has a special interest in dyadic, family and play therapy.

Jane has a Master of Clinical Family Therapy (MCFT) from La Trobe University, a Master of Social Work (Qualifying) (MSW(Q)) from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (BSocSc(Psych)) from Swinburne University of Technology.

Jane is an accredited member of the Association of Australian Social Workers (AASW) and professional member of the Australian Association of Family Therapists (AAFT). 

Jane is a Foundational Theraplay® Practitioner and an accredited facilitator for the parenting education program Tuning in to Kids.

Jane is currently working towards further accreditation as a mental health social worker (AMHSW).
