Jane Williams is a family therapist and social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting children, families, and carers across the welfare sector. She has particular expertise in therapeutic work with parents and carers of children who have experienced trauma, including families involved in child protection and out-of-home care services. Jane has a strong interest in family therapy, dyadic therapy, and play therapy, and also provides couples therapy and individual therapeutic support where appropriate.

In addition to her private practice work, Jane works part-time as a family therapist within the child mental health service at the Sunshine campus of The Royal Children's Hospital.

Jane holds a Master of Clinical Family Therapy (MCFT) from La Trobe University, a Master of Social Work (Qualifying) (MSW(Q)) from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) (BSocSc(Psych)) from Swinburne University of Technology.

She is an accredited member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and a professional member of the Australian Association of Family Therapy.

Jane is also a Foundational Theraplay® Practitioner and an accredited facilitator of the parenting program Tuning in to Kids. She is currently undertaking further accreditation toward becoming an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW).
